First half of 2021

A record-breaking trajectory

Bilateral trade climbed from $1.444B to $2.167B in the first six months of 2021 — a 50.1% jump year-on-year. Romanian exports to the United States reached $1.393B (+37.3%), while imports from the US stood at $773.7M. Full-year forecasts pointed to a new $2.8B all-time high for the bilateral relationship.
